Annual P4T Stand Up Paddle Board Race Event
Our P4T Stand Up Paddle Board race is always the second Saturday after Labor Day. This event is hosted at Sears Landing Restaurant and Boat Docks located in Surf City. It is an exciting day that consists of 3 races - a competitive 10K and 5K SUP race for both men and women and the Fun Paddle that brings families together riding a variety of floating vessels. Paddle trophies are awarded to the top 3 finishers for both men and women in the 10K and 5K.
The day is filled with emotion as individuals offer their testimony to the assistance provided by P4T, service members are honored, new relationships are made and old relationships are renewed.There is also live music throughout the day, along with raffles, 50/50 raffle, and an exciting live auction. You won’t want to miss the Wall of Honor that features biographies of the local military that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Honors Golf Tournament
Our Honors Golf Tournament is always the last Saturday of April at Olde Point Country Club honoring those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in serving our country. The tournament includes prize holes providing an opportunity to win golf vacations, cash, and more. There are a variety of challenges applied to specific holes, including the ever-popular AR15 golf ball launcher, to make the day more thrilling for everyone. The day concludes with a full lunch hosted by Olde Point Country Club while individuals helped by P4T share their stories and prizes are awarded including the top team receives the coveted P4T award paddles.

Other Events
It is such an honor to share dinners with the residents of Sgt. Eugene Ashley Memorial Center. Located in Wilmington, this facility provides a short-term transitional program for homeless veterans. P4T sponsors dinners several times a year as well as purchases Christmas presents for those living in the shelter. In many cases, these are some of the only gifts the residents receive.
P4T also gives back to the Surf City community with a periodic road-side trash pick up. Having adopted the main road (NC210 corridor) leading to Topsail Island, the P4T team would love to have other community members join in this time to clean up our surrounding area.
P4T is always open to partnering with others throughout the year. In an amazing show of support, our local businesses and community members have offered to host events to help raise funds for the P4T mission and our deserving military. Throughout the years there has been a Salty Turtle signature beer, Hidden Ships Distillery sponsored drink the month of November, a raffle hosted by Harbor Village Yacht Club, a cornhole tournament sponsored by Optimum Fire & Security, and a cookout at Backyard Tavern in Sneads Ferry.
