Scholarships

Growing up in a military family comes with unique challenges, frequent moves, deployment related separations and the lasting impact of service. Paddle 4 Troops is committed to supporting military connected students through scholarship opportunities.

The Harry “Diddle” Blackwell Scholarship offers awards ranging from $500 to $2,500, with the opportunity to renew for $1,000 annually for up to three additional years, provided a 3.0 GPA is maintained. This scholarship is open to military dependents under age 25 pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree.

The Tommy James Murphy Memorial Scholarship is a one-time $1,000 award for students pursuing trade or vocational education.

Both scholarships are available to dependents of active or prior military members. Applications are due May 1, 2026.
